Among the millions of things on your mind, your education is probably one of the last things you want to think about The road to a college education can be very bumpy, but it's an important road to follow. At RTC we offer Tutorial and Training to lost young people, also we made available many resources that will help you deal with everything, from help with your homework to dealing with gang-related violence.
If you seek help, you can succeed. No one expects you to do it all alone. Some essential things that will help you stay in school and reach your education goals include finding a mentor, getting help with homework, getting involved in your community, and finding help when you're feeling overwhelmed.
Mentorship Providing help with school, job training, and life in general, a mentor can be a parent, a teacher, a big brother or sister, or someone who may be working in a field that you wish to pursue. You can find these in RTC. Homework Help Stuck on a question? Can't think of a project topic? Just plain don't get it? There are many resources and professionals at RTC, you cn find help with your studies there. ommunity and Cultural Groups Make connections, meet people, help your community, and get involved. Our road show and Community Initiatives will connect you to other successful youths who have gone through the process. Life isn't all just school and homework. Expand your mind with sports, music, arts, volunteering, and other activities. Sports and Activities Nothing stimulates the mind like physical exertion. Run, play football, aerobic, swimming, bike.
